Recreational (U5-8)

Beginning with the Fall 2026 season, WJSC will follow the updated US Youth Soccer age-group formation cycle. Players will be grouped using an August 1 through July 31 birth-year window, helping better align teams with the school calendar and national youth soccer standards.

U5–U6 Program Information & Important Dates

Our U5–U6 program introduces young players to soccer in a fun, supportive, and development-focused environment.

• Sundays from 12:00–1:00 PM

• 40 minutes of instructional coaching + 20-minute game vs. fellow WJSC in-house teams

• Spring Ridge Elementary (front fields along Broadcasting Road)

• Club-provided t-shirt included

Important Dates

• 9/13 — Season Starts

• 9/19 — Picture Day

• 10/11 — No Recreational Games (2026 WJSC Fall Classic Tournament is held this weekend)

• 10/25 — Season Ends

U7–U8 Program Information & Important Dates

The U7–U8 program continues developing fundamental soccer skills while introducing players to regular team practices and scheduled games.

• Two practices per week (practice days and times are determined by each coach)

• Saturday games at 10:00 AM or 12:00 PM (alternating each week) vs. fellow WJSC in-house teams

• Spring Ridge Elementary (front fields along Broadcasting Road)

• Club-provided t-shirt included

Important Dates

• 8/24 — Practices Start

• 9/12 — Games Start

• 9/19 — Picture Day (scheduled around game times)

• 10/10 — No Rec Games (2026 WJSC Fall Classic Tournament is held this weekend)

• 10/23 & 10/24 — "Under the Lights" Evening Games at Cacoosing Meadows Park

• 10/24 — Season Ends
