Registration for the Spring 2023 is now open!!!
For all players that will be playing Travel soccer this spring (U9 and older) - Please be aware that a late fee for registration will be assessed starting on January 16th. For all players that will be playing intramural, your late fee will be assessed starting January 30th. Please see the table below to see how many players we are accepting in each age group. If the age group fills, you will be placed on a waitlist. For those players that are placed on a waitlist, we will contact you if a spot opens. Should there be enough players on a waitlist in the same age group, we will look to add another team. The best advice is to register as soon as possible.
Travel registration will close February 25th. This will allow us to add all late registrations (not on a waitlist) to teams.
The reason for the late fee is due to the fact that the league (RBJSL) requires that we have our Spring teams entered by January 22nd. The league will then have a meeting to assign all teams to their “tiers” based on how the teams fared during the Fall season. In order for the WJSC to best place its teams in the proper tiers, we ask for anyone that is planning on playing in the Spring to register before this date. This will allow us to have a better idea on how many teams we need to enter and what the appropriate tier will be for each team.
Finally, regarding Spring rosters, due to the fact that traditionally we have fewer players that play in the Spring compared to the Fall, we sometimes have to change rosters. There is no guarantee that players will be on the same team from the Fall. While we will do our best to keep teams consistent, we sometimes have to merge and shuffle teams due to lower registration numbers.
Attention parents, we need coaches at every level for the 2023 Spring season. As a community based organization we rely on our volunteers to help provide a positive and beneficial soccer environment. Even if you have a limited soccer background, we use your help and will support you through the process. And the more volunteers we have, the more players we can help.
Please click on the link below if you can help us out this fall. At the end of the registration, there will be another link that will review with you the clearances that are required to be a volunteer coach. If you start the process now, it will not take you long to complete. And this process is required for all volunteer soccer coaches in our region.
Thank you in advance for your help and support of the Wilson Junior Soccer Club.
The WJSC is constantly monitoring the ongoing COVID-19 situation. We are following local, state, and federal regulations and recommendations in an effort to keep our players, families, and coaches/staff safe.
Please know that the WJSC has followed all guidelines and recommendations when coming up with their Return to Play - COVID-19 Safety Protocols. This document has been approved by both Spring Township and the Wilson School District for approval so we can be granted field usage. As you are fully aware, this is a constantly changing situation and the WJSC will continue to monitor and make changes to their plan to ensure the safety of our players, families, and coaches. Should the season be canceled before the start of any games, the club will issue full refunds to its membership. If the season is canceled after the start of the season, the club would issue refunds on a prorated basis to cover the costs expenses it has incurred (field rental, field maintenance, referee fees, ect).
We greatly appreciate your support and patience during this unprecedented time and can't wait to see our players back on the field.
